Our county town is stunning, situated on the River Wye with its ancient cathedral (which houses the Mappa Mundi and a chained library). A lovely way to spend a day.

Worcester

Just 20 minutes from the Admiral Rodney, Worcester was the site of the last battle of the Civil War and is home to a stunning riverside cathedral. Worcester warrants at least half a day exploring its history and enjoying its cobbled streets.

Elgar Birthplace

We often feel closest to Elgar when we listen to his music, but to know the world in which he walked is to colour our image of him further. The National Trust look after his birthplace.
